We had a wonderful trip to Algona, IA in early October. A cold front moved through and it dropped to the mid 30's with wind gusts in the 30 mph range. Quite a change from the weather in Atlanta. Other than the cold, the weather was crisp and clear. We were visiting Algona for our annual trip to the Algona High School Reunion for the years 1938 to 1945. This year was represented by alumni from 1939 and 1942 through 1944. We had a wonderful time seeing our friends and visiting sights in the Algona area. This year I took a number of photos of the things that I always enjoy seeing in Iowa that I never see in Georgia. Lots of windmills, old barns, corn, soybeans, and farm equipment.
